How To Properly Solder Wires
Joint the two disconnected wirings of the PCB board and connect them with a twist.
How to properly solder wires. How to Solder Copper Wires Correctly. How to Solder a Circuit Board and PCB Board. Examples of where soldering is applicable to this class is the joining of wires on a circuit board of wires to a module or wires to other wires to name a few.
Heat shrink will insulate and protect the wire junction. Using a Wire Stripper Strip the Wires to Desired Length. Soldering is used in almost every project in the class.
Make sure to heat it before because of that the Solder melts and joints with the connector. Bring the soldering iron tip close to the twisted wiring. With proper soldering of wires the following operations must be performed.
Hold the two tinned wires on top of each other and touch the soldering iron to both wires. At some point over the next 2-10 seconds depending on how hot your iron is the wires will be hot enough to melt the solder. Do not over tin the wire or solder may flow up under the wires insulation causing it become rigid or you will end up with globs of solder on the terminal that will have to be removed.
Use heat shrink to cover the connection. Then remove your hand and hold the twisted section with a plastic stick. Touch the tip of the soldering iron to the wires and keep it there.
Repeat this process on the other wire. The heated flux will evenly pull the melted solder into the wire. The wires will begin to heat up.
