How to block google chrome pop ups. We found this on a Microsoft Community forum post. Remove the Pop-Up Causing Malware. Open your Google Chrome browser.
In the Privacy section click the Content settings button. Next to Notifications select Block from the drop down menu. Then go to Site settings Scroll down until you find the Pop-ups and redirects option under the Content banner.
Select View site information. Turn Pop-ups and redirects on or off. To the right of the address bar tap More.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu. Turn on the toggle to allow pop-ups or turn it off to block pop-ups. Turn off pop-up blockers in Chrome PC Windows Mac Android phone or tablet iPhone or iPad Turn pop-up blocker off in Chrome Windows 10 1.
Check Block pop-up windows under Pop-ups. Under Privacy and security choose Site Settings. Otherwise you can add the specific sites in the block list by clicking on Add next to Block.
You can also add exceptions if you want. Chromes built-in pop-up blocker First click on the vertical ellipsis at the top-right corner of your screen and go to Settings Now click on Privacy and security on the left-hand side of your screen. Go back to Site permission and select the arrow beside Ads.
