Seeing the world of No Mans Sky in VR is certainly a treat and it makes the size and vastness of the game feel much more immediate and real.

Unlike many other games No Mans Sky isnt split into a VR and non-VR version. No Mans Sky Beyond has finally brought VR to the space-faring adventure and performance issues aside theres plenty of reason to check it out if you have either a PSVR or SteamVR headset. And yeah considering Sean himself said he felt like NMS was made for VR and was basically a perfect fit for VR its silly that something like not being able to get past a mod warning screen prevents people from enjoying the game how they want. Like we said earlier there isnt a lack of space-based VR games but No Mans Sky does have something that many of them lack.

You only need to pick up a normal copy of the game to get access to the VR support. No Mans Sky VR feels like a completely different game to what was found in the original non-VR release. Based on the announcement they say that it will be part of a free update for the base game and continue to say that it will be available on PlayStation VR as well as Steam VR.

Now Ive played VR games before but theyd always just been simple rail shooters. That is for the better though as the 2019 update has made this game more expansive and fun. Hit controller settings on the left.
