How To Make Soldering Wire
I have tried to get the solder to attach to the wire with and without flux but no luck.
How to make soldering wire. You interweave the threads of the wires together before soldering the joint solid. This will help conduct heat to the wire. The process for soldering 3 wires together is the same as splicing 2 4 or even 10 of them.
Hold the two tinned wires on top of each other and touch the soldering iron to both wires. Using too much solder will make it difficult for the electrical current to pass through the wire with the additional resistance. Do NOT use acid flux.
You should not apply too much solder. Or else it will make the wire firm. Too much or too little flux will cause problems with the solder attaching to the parts.
The soldering iron will not move throughout this process. It helps to start the heat transfer by dabbing the solder at the point where the iron and wires meet then move the solder. You can solder any metal objects together even wires to other wires.
You crimp it with the correct tooling then apply solder to the very end of the wire and let some flow into the B or butt cheek part of the terminal. Touch the tip of the solder to the tip of the soldering iron to create a small pool of liquid solder on the irons tip. Using the soldering gun heat the wiring up enough to melt the solder and gently apply the soldering to the wire with the soldering gun touching the wire.
Please dip the litz wire without removing enamel coating into the soldering jarpot. 60tinpine resin and 40lead. If there is clumping or excess solder you can reapply the iron to melt the solder.
