Some games can be played with a keyboard and mouse but many dont allow it. While Sony have yet to confirm any PS5 games that support mouse and keyboard you can still use keyboard and mouse on PS4 games played on PS5 through backwards compatibility.

It lets you connect a keyboard and mouse whether through bluetooth or a cable. Its not like the PS4 doesnt support keyboard and mouse. Plus not everyone I know has a good enough PC to run BFV.

PS4 also supports keyboard and mouse inputs. Due to PS4 only having two USB slots as the PS4 uses bluetooth I recommend a bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard and mouse will connect to the user in the ps4 system but Minecraft doesnt appear to recognize it for that player reliablyI one time was able to get the mouse to work for player 2 then another time the keyboard but never together and not without a ps4 controller also connected to that player. In these games youre guaranteed to be able to use your mouse and keyboard. Not all games offer this support though. I have to say if they are not added I will not likely continue to play on PS4.

Even in single-player games where balance isnt a concern game developers havent gone out of their way to support mouse and keyboard controlsalthough they could. With these games it may not work smoothly because these games simulate controller input or your mouse and keyboard might not be recognized at all. You probably mean operating-system-wise.
